Going on ABC’s hit show Shark Tank does not guarantee a deal with a celebrity investor, but it does almost certainly guarantee a bump in revenue. In this fun and informative piece for Inc. Magazine, we were given the opportunity to show the ’Shark Bump Effect’ with an innovative methodology where we can show the years of revenue leading up to a company going on the show followed by the years proceeding their Shark Year. What we found was not only a general increase in revenue, but that as the show became more popular, the revenue would grow even higher in the proceeding years.
